Optical Filters IR

General Info
Heat reflection filters. Intense light sources, in addition to usable light, also send other frequencies – not used, and sometimes even undesirable that heat illuminated objects. IR filters (Borofloat glass type substrate), causing the removal of radiation and reduction of the heat effect of the light source in the near infrared (NIR). Heat reflection filters are used for projection and lighting systems and as heat protection filters in sensor engineering. They are characterized by high transparency and high temperature stability of up to 450°C when Borofloat is used as a substrate.
